Q: Ovulation Calendar: can I use w/irregular periods?

hi my name is patricia and i was wondering on october 5 me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex and i wasnt sure if he commed inside of me. from their i went to like 2 months without geting my period then on november 20th i went to a clinic and it came out negative. then the next day nov 21 and on nov 24th my boyfriend came inside of me a couple of times. i check on my ovaluation calendar and on the 24th was in high fertility, but now on dec 3 i got my period but itonly last me 4 days and usually is it 7 days now do u think that their could be a possibility of being pregnant.

An ovulation calendar makes sense only if you experience regular menstrual periods/cycles. In your case, you’ve missed your period for 2 months without being pregnant. Your cycle was disturbed (became irregular) and therefore, the ovulation calendar has no power of predictability. The bleeding on the 3rd of December was probably a period and it is another sign that you are not pregnant. You might be experiencing a functional ovarian cyst that delayed the period. Functional ovarian cysts usually exist for 2-3 months and after that, a new cycle begins. Perhaps this happened in your case.
