A year ago I woke to pins and needles all over my face and a vibrating feeling in my right arm-it was determined that I had a TIA. The doctor had no idea why and brushed it off due to my age-I was 32. This past September I was rushed to the hospital with a very high heart rate (164) and my blood pressure rising (180/100) they determined I had SVT episode-which can at times make my heart rate high. I also have suffered my irregular heart beats all my life-
Since then I wore the heart monitor and I had a high heart rate during the day and I had an irregular heart beat. I have a great doctor but at times feel lost in what to do. What medication can help me control my irregular heart beats and should I take any? He believes it's my hormones during certain times of the month-
What are my chances of having a full blown stroke due to my fast heart rate at times and irregular heart beats?
