Yea smoking is not good it would be best if you quit but I understand that it would be hard to just stop but some people smoke all during their prengnancies and their babies are fine but I wouldnt recomend it. At least cut down some

Well from what my doc said and what I read online, as long as you quit before ur 4th month u should be ok but I would try your hardest to quit now. The sooner the better. Smoking does have very serious effect on your baby. ~ erica.

Not only can smoking cause low birth weight, but it makes their lungs develop slower....So lets say you went into labor early....Your babys lungs may not be ready. Cut down...If you can't quit. I know of many babies that were born from smoking mothers and they were fine. I also smoked occasionally while pregnant, and my daughter was pretty healthy.

I agree.. Quit if u can seriously.. But also, see ive heard its actually worse during the 1st 4 months because thats when all major development is going on.. How far are u by the way? And how much are u smoking? If u really cant quit, then cut down, but everyone can quit, it just takes a lot of trying and strength.

My cousin smoked through both of her pregnancies-one of her sons have serious hearing problems due to glue ear as a direct result of smoking and the other has chronic asthma and theyre aged 1 and 4.Please think about that little baby growing inside u who relies on u.Im sure you're doctor will help u quit smoking.

There is alot you need to do when your pregnant smoking is one of them-- I actually think its selfish to smoke when a life is depending on you-- I know its hard to quit-- but your baby should give you enough will power- I quit the day I found out I was pregnant- a girl I new smoked when she was pregnant-- and the poor baby was so small and was in the hospital for a little over a month- how sad Crying or Very sad how could you not quit-?
