Ava makes so much noise when she sleeps. She keeps me up. She snorts, grunts, and lets out little cries. I started putting her in her bassinet and so far so good besides for her making all kinds of noises. When we put her in our bed she's quiet as can be. Anyone know why?

Maybe she's just getting used to sleeping on her own? At least you got her in the bassinet!

God I remember the trouble I had just getting my baby to lay flat on his back - he hated it! As soon as I laid him down, his bottom lip would stick out and then he'd start screaming! He slept for quite a while in his car seat!!!

I guess it's just that she's getting use to it. When I go around the bassinet she stops like she knows that i'm around. It's crazy. I'm torn right now between putting her in a co-sleeper or just in the bassinet and then move her into her room later on, much later on. When she's in teh bassinet I can't relax. I check her breathing constantly. When she's with me I don't have to worry about that and she's quieter.

Lol...I think we all go through that stage!! The "oh no, is she still breathing" panic!!

Oni only slept on her belly so I was 10 times more paranoid!!

She only co-slept when she was sick.

Her .Daddy looooooved having her sleeping with us, but I kicked her out! :p

for awhile, I let her sleep in her play yard. It came with a bassinet attachment that had music and vibrations. It was the sh't!!

Don't feel bad that she's alone in her bassinet. She's fine Wink . I know it's easier said than done, but I promise, you'll start feeling better about it!!

Plus, you don't want a 3 year old in between you and your man later on...Phew, i'm glad I kicked .Oni out...I needed me some .Daddy loove! Hhehehe!

I check finn's breathing a lot too. He's slept through the night the past 2 nights and you'd think i'd get a good night's sleep but instead i'm too busy worrying about him and checking on him. I'm not used to him sleeping for so long at one time. I'm going to be even worse when we move him out of our room, whenever that may be.

We co-sleep with .Alyvia.

I wake up 6 times a night to make sure the covers aren't over her face, and another 2-3 times when she starts getting fussy to give her a boob.

Her bassinet is one of those pack and plays with the bassinet and changing table on it. I'm thinking of getting her a snug fit bassinet from babiesrus b/c she likes to be held to sleep. My mom bought her a cat chair that has arms and when she lays in it the cat's arms hold her, so she thinks it's a human holding her I guess, and she sleeps. It's really soft, so she doesn't sit, she lays on it. If we'd put her on the mattress with nothing, she wouldn't sleep. The cat makes me nervous though. She can roll over and put her face into the cat's arm.
I might get her a sleep positioner to replace the cat.
I guess I won't sleep through the night until my last child is 40.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to keep your baby close and it is normal to worry about them. I would give it a little more time in the bassinet so that you can move her to her bed when she gets older.
