Q: Baba's First Bath!
asked by: Zanny on December 5th, 2006

For the past couple of weeks i've just washed .Jenny with cotton wool and water because she's so tiny and the midwife said a proper bath wasn't really necessary.. But the other night I decided to put her in the bath for the first time to see if she liked it. I was expecting her to scream.. But she actually enjoyed it!

and here's a few others I took today!

i love taking pics of my baba Mr.

I'm so curious about her extra thumb! Do both function normally, or is one non-functional? Will they have to remove any bones when they remove it? You should definately take lots of pictures so you can tell her about it when she's older! Smile

Everyone loves the extra thumb, they want me to keep it and not have it removed.. But even though ideally i'd like it to be her decision, she'd go through so much bullying at school and stuff if she was different in any way.. Kids are so cruel.

Both thumbs are functional.. That's why it's so weird when she grabs your finger and 6 little fingers wrap themselves round it! The extra one is limited in how it can move though, due to its position. It's fully formed, complete with bones and a nail and everything.. It's amazing really. I don't know how common polydactyly is.. But I think it makes .Jenny special!

Shocked wow! Lol that does make her very unique, but like you said I would be afraid that my kid would get made fun of in school.Kids are so ruthless!

Once I brought dalton to this play thing in the middle of the mall while my sister was shopping and this kid pushed him out of the way.He was being mean and I got mad cause he was like 3 times bigger than dalton so I looked at him real mean and shook my head no. . .He ran away, lol

I'm scared of that happening to .Aly, because I honestly think .I'll get into a fist fight with the kid's mother. You better believe that little sh|t is going to get told off by me, and of course their mom is going to be all "don't talk to my kid that way" and we'll be off... Evil or
Very Mad you control your kid and .I'll control mine, how's that, lady? Ugh!

I don't endorse being physical at all. If .Aly slapped someone, she'd get in trouble, even if I thought the other child somewhat deserved it. My daughter is going to know that you can't hit people to get what you want or to get revenge. You tell your mommy or a teacher.

We were all really shocked when he did it he had never been violent before but a few mins before that e had seen another kid hit its brother so I guess was just copying him even though we told him the other little boy was being bad

i'd do the same thing but when my kids get into school and someone hits them,i'm gonna tell them to hit em back! That might sound bad but I want my kids to defend themselves

I don't want .Aly to stand there and take it, but I wouldn't want her to hit back either. We might enroll her in some form of martial art class when she gets older, so she can learn how to push/throw someone off of her if they gang up on her. But hit back? No, absolutely not. That's just as wrong.

I do see were you're coming from mel but I can't stand the thought of my baby ever being hit when they go to school! But it does happen and I do want them to be able to defend themselves but only to defend themselves. I just hope this wee one never has to. Lord it's not even out yet and i'm worrying about fights it the playground
