I've had an earlobe cyst for quite a while, a couple of months i'd say. For some reason it begins to build pus up beside it. I was fortunate enough to have 'accidentally' prodded it with a pin and it became very inflamed and the gp informed me it was an abscess. I was given anti-biotics, and the inflammation and swelling went but the cyst remained. In a follow up appointment, the cyst was confirmed and I was told I just had to get on with it. A few days afterwards and the pus seems to be building up a little. It seems to grow and get smaller quite a few times within a day. At the moment it's not noticeable so it's not too much of an issue, but i'd rather not have a huge abscess in there again because it's really awkward ... People asking why your earlobe is twice the size of the other

. Any idea if there are remedies or ways of making sure the pus doesn't build up to begin with? I can live with the cyst, i'd rather live without the pus though.
Thanks.
