Q: Considering a Facelift (lifestyle Lift)?

Hello!

I read a lot of forums, but haven't joined until now. I've really ha dnothing of value to add. Now I do.

I've been wanting a facelift for years but have been very scared. I got up my courage and thought I might have what's called a lifestyle lift, but them chickened out. I was just terrified.

Now I have something worth posting that might help someone else. I was surfing around the other day and ran across the ll diary ( it may be spelled lldiary, I can't remember). I downloaded this thing and was shocked by how much detail this patient gave about her surgery. She was also very funny, osmething i've never connected with surgery of any kind.

I'm thinking about asking my husband to give it to me for my birthday. If I don't chicken out, i'll come back and report.

If anyone else out there is thinking about having a facelift, the lifestyle lift, specifically, I highly suggest you read this. I can't remember the website, but you can probably do a search and find it.

Thanks to everyone for all of their sharing!! It helps..

Less-scared evelyn

Re: Lifestyle Lift
I have experience with Lifestyle Lift. I didn't actually have the lift but I did consider it. Instead they just did my eyes and lipoed my chin, since I didn't need the rest. It is a SMAS lift. It typically takes about an hour, but there is a short recovery period which they don't talk too much about. Usually it takes a person about a week to get back to feeling normal, and maybe a month or two to feel like they are healed. Many people don't realize its a real procedure with cutting and such.
