Uh uh sorry hunni, that's a posh accent.

I'm from the midlands - the only place on earth where people really don't have an accent (i am not a brummie - they have accents)

there is no "r" in path - where do you find it???

Point to add...

People who say barth, parth, grarse usually think people who say bath, path, grass speak "common" Idea

My parents have always said it and all of my family have so I just grew up with it and thought everyone spoke like it until I started paying more attention to tv

Posh can mean stuck up but it's really a throw back from when posh referred to the middle/upper classes as opposed to the lower and working classes.

Those classes are no longer so clearly defined.

Ah, okay. I didn't mean to sound rude (if I did at all), I just remember there being a "posh spice" in the spice girls, and she was always super glammed up and the like.

'posh' 'stuck up' and 'common' arn't really used that much round here now a few years back they were but then there was a huge row about people thinking their was a social divide etc even though there wasn't it was manily just a few choice teenagers who were saying nasty things about being 'stuck up' or common' now it's mainly just the older generation who grew up with classes as the norm etc. People are just people to me speak how you want to speak it really doesn't bother me

Look at some of the people from .Boston and around that area, a lot of them don't even say their r's like in park the car, I was married to a .Bostonian and I started to pick it up and when I lived in the south I started picking up their slang, it doesn't take long. My .Grandpa from .Germany would say wolkswagon instead of volkswagon.

I always liked the name of .Morgan and it can be used for a boy or girl but that is my .Nephew's middle name and his .Daughter's first name. I still like .Kimberly and .Rebecca and evelyn and some of the older names that aren't used much.

Congratulations on your baby-to-be being a girl!
