Posted: 12-04-06 11:59am

Since my thread went so off subject and I didnt bother reading the second page...I'll continue it here lol

you're right purest! Boys go off and do their own thing more when they get older, girls stay closer to their parents...Generally.

I just love having a lil boy...A girl scares me lol! Im sure it will be fine tho, I love being a mom its one of the best jobs there is Smile

thanks for all the congrats. Im not sure what i'll name her...Hm I had .Jayden all picked out ready for a boy lmao! Any fave girls names to suggest?

Jayden still works for a girl doesn't it? Names are sooo hard. I know i'm not going to have a "for sure" one picked until after the baby is born.

Congrats again on your little girl allie!

I dont like it for a girl cos the nickname would be jay or jay jay...Boyish.

Thanks tanya Smile

prefer a more original/not too common name I guess. Im not sure who posted it in their possible names list earlier but I like .Sophia.... And um nicole, and peyton. (yes shes the main girl from my fave tv show -same place I first heard of 'lucas' too but I really like the name! -aswell as the characters. So no one can say I picked those names because of people on a tv show, even if u really like someone on tv or in a movie/book etc...That doesnt mean you like their name. Ok I worded that all wrong but u know what I mean lol

i like sophia, avery and thea on your list. Least like jamie cos its very common for a boy over here. Thea is short for theadosia isnt it?...Quite a mouthful. Its hard cos u want a name that doesnt mean anything too bad, doesnt ryhme with anything rude etc, and a name that doesnt remind u of anyone u dont like. I like nadia but it sounds a bit too foreign? I've got a baby names book here somewhere.

Hate my last name. Im changing it after christmas. Got to pick a surname too Confused Lol

Thea is short for theadora, or dorothea. If I used it I would just use .Thea. I think i'm most likely to go with sophia and I would just use thea as a nickname, cause it sorta sounds like the end of sophia. I know what you mean about names that remind you of someone you don't like! If I know someone I don't like I immediately associate their name with them and then can't think of using it. That's how vanessa and teigan were ruined for me and I liked both. Nadia is russian i'm pretty sure. Are you having a harder time finding girls names you like than boys names? I know before I found out what I was having I had a huge list of girls names and barely any boys.

Oh ok it was used for theadosia in a movie, I looked it up and that is actually a name Shocked ..Well everyone has different tastes but its too long for me. I like it just as thea tho! Did u really want a girl before u found out then? Cos I think I picked jayden because I wanted another boy. I like nicole how the americans/canadians say it. Your accent makes it sound very different - the 'ole' part. I like marissa too. Do u have a middle name decided or not going to bother?

I really wanted a girl but I was sure I was having a boy at first. I'm not canadian so I don't think I have a canadian accent! I had a south african accent when I first moved here and all the kids thought I sounded funny! I think it's mostly gone but sometimes people still hear a bit of it and comment.

I'm not sure about a middle name... I'm going to ask my big sister if she wants to pick it. Or I might give her my ouma's name for a middle name (a long ungly afrikaans name). Me and my sister don't have middle names, I might not give her one... Are you going to give her a middle name? What is lucas's middle name?

South african accent Laughing ...Im kidding! I think it sounds cool, ive met quite a few peopl who lived there and moved to the uk, some went back after a year... They came to work. (all friends of my parents)
i bet u get kinda sick of having to explain why u sound different.

Lucas's middle name is mark. I like short middle names. So maybe anne or jade or something like that, im not sure..
