I am young, and a non smoker, although have family members and friends around me who often smoke. Now its never worried me before, although over the past few months, its becoming almost unbearable.

Prior to this problem, I had been very nauseous for several months, although the problem then went away. It is now recurring, although infrequently (maybe only once a week, or maybe several times a day).

The slightest whiff of mainly cigarette smoke (although also some deodorants, incense, paint, fine saw dust and cleaning products) or another product which has some reaction with me, will give me an extremely sore throat. The problem only lasts for a few minutes after the cause has gone away, although even passing someone in a street with a cigarette is getting too unbearable now.

After this occuring for several months I went to my local doctor, he seemed to think it was nothing and could find nothing wrong with me.

After that, cigarette smoke in particular is giving me extreme chest pains on either one side of chest cavity or the other. It varies. These last longer than the sore throat.

I also went to a second doctor, he suggested I may have an allergy, although nothing more and found nothing wrong with me.

Those products mentioned above are now also causing rashes on me, almost like a heat rash, which are very itchy.A third doctor again suggested an allergy.

What is worrying, is this is getting worse, although one doctor thought I was making these up. Could taht be possible? Isn't is possible people can deluse themselves till tey actually show these symptoms? Could these symptom,s be something more severe like throat cancer?
