What was suppose to be the most joyful moment turned out to be the most hurtful moment/minutes of my whole entire life!!! I was only eights week pregnant and it was my first ultrasound and my baby heartbeat had stop beating 1 week ago... Now if this wasnt hard enough I was sent home to have a natural misscarriage!!! Is this standard procedure??? How often does this happen? Or should I go with the dnc procedure what are the effects of a dnc??? This has been the most horrific experience ive ever had to encounter... This was my first pregnancy.... And probably the last I dont think I can/will ever do this again!!!!!

I'm so sorry to hear about this. Whether or not to have a d&c is a decision entirely personal to you. I had my miscarriage 'induced' and the experience was horrific and painful. There are pros and cons to each. Of course there are some risks with a surgical procedure but you have the benefit of being 'asleep' and not actually being aware when you pass.

I hope you find a solution for you Sad

your baby was just a tiny little bean and I don't think you need a dnc for that.Your boy will naturlly pass it.If you want another opinion and don't think what your doc said was right, you should call another doctor.

oh sweetie, i'm so sorry you're going through this! Your heart is broken, and with time, will heal. Just don't blame yourself. Sometimes, things just happen.

I experienced a m/c personally last year. I found out the same way you did. I know what you are going through.

You can always pm me!
