Q: Ortho Tricyclen Lo Help?

I started on ortho tricyclen lo two months ago, and am starting my third pack tomorrow. My problem seems to be that when I start my period I get overly moody, aggressive, depressive, and just not fun.

Normally (as in before the pill) I had some of those signs the first day, but by the third I was fine. But right now i'm like seething inside because of the way my socks feel against my feet, which isn't really like me.

I was wondering if anyone else has gotten like this? I seem moodier all around even during the month since I started these pills. Oh, and my optometrist says that my eyes have gotten worse because of it!!!

So basically i'm wondering if anyone else has had these problems, and if you tried other pills that were better.

Some women do notice a worsening of depression and/or pms symptoms on the pill, and sometimes swicthing pills can definately help.

Some women on the pill notice that if they do not have a period week, that their pms goes away.-it is called continuous use, but is not reccomended you use with tri-phasic pills.

Yes, contact lenses do chnage your eyes, and some women notice an inability to wear contact lenses. Using a special brand of contact like acuvue oasis can definately help, it has more moisture for your eyes.-if you notice drying...

Thanks.
I've been wearing contacts since 4th grade, and while my rx has gotten worse I was freaking out - it had changed within this month! But the dr said it happens with some pills.

I'll definately look into a different pill, or see if I can't get a rx for one of those long term no period pills.
