Hi, I really beg someone to reply to this post.

Firstly let me explain my diagnoses. Earlier on this year, around february I was diagnosed iwth schizoaffective disorder however this summer it changed to bipolar disorder.

I am currently taking lexapro 5mg lamictal 200mg and zyprexa 5mg.

Today I have felt very unwell indeed and im wondering if my first diagnoses of schizoaffective disorder was the right one.

While my mood is currently stable, I have been experiencing some strange things today.

My mind feels very fragmented and broken thoughts. I have not showered in days or changed clothes, I sleep and wear the same clothes daily and nightly and I am starting to smell bad.

Ii went to the grocery store today with my friend and I waited in the car while she went in. As I was sat in the car everything started to look very strange to me .. Mainly the trees. It was though I was seeing everything differently and I felt as if everything was watching me, alive, and jeering at me.

Its totally freaked me out and im becoming very scared. I have been sitting in strange positions and banging my head becuase I am so frustrated with these thoughts. I was also telling my thoughts to shut up because of the way they were all fragmented.

What do you think ? I see my pdoc on the 12th, I am definatly going to tell him about this.

Hi Firefly. How are you now? Did you see your doctor and have your symptoms improved?

Firefly, I've read a few of your posts and may I say that I'm truly sorry for what you had to go through. My best friend from highschool has had schizophrenia for the past five years, I was present while he was having a few of his psychotic attacks and I had to calm him down / forcibly restrain him... so I've seen a good deal of what psychosys may look like.

If you don't mind, I'd like to talk about your experiences with you because I have a feeling you need a lot of support in this situation.

I've sent you a private message...

Try to make yourself a model of what your happy with everything appearing like and keep maintaining the thought of it in your head until it becomes stable. Whenever things morph and your perception changes just assure yourself that its the way you want it to be. You control your thoughts not the other way around.

Remember we all create our own reality but sometimes we can let our mind run wild and create a mad reality for us.

hello firefly

The drugs in your system is taking effect, and you not knowing how the world is shaped is the very fuel to fire.....

would it help if i told you that you were normal? and that everyone else is abnormal?

Would it help if i mentioned in my opinion to meditate once in a while... contemplating all that has happened to you, and what your future shall hold for you....

Would it also help, if i mentioned that the simple reasons why you dont take care of your self is cause you lost most meaning to that which you thought was real, is now being challanged to that which was you originally, are you wrong? a loser who lost to the preassure of the world?

Keep up with your vitamins, excersise, chant a beautiful prayer, find a hobbie and define the life that which was destined for you. you have all the time you need... as all things, fish need to adjust to the waters they swim in, even if they do sufficate with drugs.... but from doctors opinioins, you are the best intreperter of your experiances, not other people....

may your path become enlightend
some personal development books mite help...
I have solitude from this hyped up world, from the books i read... and the music i listen to... Zen

peace out firefly, may your wings not clip and your light shine for miles.

Always take a natural path first and the suggestions he just gave are also good. Never take psychotropic medication unless you've weeded out all physical possibilities. I had symptoms so bad and delusions so ridiculous I thought I was schizophrenic, but I found out later it was just a sugar disorder and all I have to do is eat right. The sensation you explain is something I've actually experienced. It's called depersonalization/derealization and is not schizophrenia. The thoughts following it are obsessions. This pattern is common in a few metabolic disorders, so it may be likely you have something physically wrong with you.
