Q: Mesh Hernia Repairs Cause Infertility?

My dh had a hernia repair done in june. He had a double hernia. I have been researching a little about fertility and hernia repairs where they use the mesh inside to keep the hernia from happening again and what I have read says it can cause infertility. Has anyone experienced this or has anyone's dh had a hernia repair where they put in a mesh and went on to have more children?
