I feel so guilty...... I've been putting brianne down in her swing alot when she falls asleep so I can get some house cleaning done but I feel so guilty about it! I feel like I should be holding her.... Sad lol I know how stupid this sounds but sincei've been home from the hospital everything makes me cry and everything I do makes me ask myself if I am a good mom..... *sigh* motherhood is so hard!

Oh my god, finn has just started liking his swing and I am *so* happy! I can finally get stuff done, like dishes and laundry. Before the swing he needed to be held all the time and was so cranky, now i'm feeling so much more relaxed and less stressed.

You can't be expected to hold her constantly, don't feel bad!

Edit to add: he doesn't last long, usually just long enough for me to fold a load of laundry or wash a few bottles. It's heaven when he falls asleep in it though, he'll sleep for at least an hour!

Trust me, it's better to put them down when they are sleeping. If you hold her constantly it will be hard to get her to sleep in her crib later on!

I adored .Nana's swing and .Papasan. Oh lord, what would I have done without them?!?!?

Because of those 2 things ^, my daughter does not have "arm-itis"! Hahahhaa, which is a disease of the needy!! Hahahha!! Just playin..

But really, if your baba is content with just sitting there....Don't feel blad...Feel glad Wink

I like it when they get to the age when they can just sit on the floor with toys and play! That's always good.

Thanks for the encouragement ladies Smile she has the fisher price nature's touch cradle swing and she would sit in there all day if I didn't make her get out to change her diaper and feed her! Smile I am blessed with a non-fussy baby. She is an angel. I just have this feeling that in a few weeks she will change her mind about being good and get colic or something like that....
