Alright..Strange question, and I have been getting fussed at for this. I am 25 years old. I just had my regular cycle, full length, a week and a half ago. 5 days ago, I began to bleed again. The flow is getting heavier. There are no period associated cramps, and it is not the same color.. My normal flow is for 3 days, and now I have been a total of 8...Should I be concerned and go to the doctor?? Or is this a normal thing that can occur from time to time?

Hi this has happened to me once before and it was just a one off, wait and see if it happens again next month and if it does go and see the doctor just to put your mind at rest, sometimes if you have a relatively light period this can happen because you say there is no pain and that its a different colour(darker I presume) it could be that you just didnt finish properly last time. Hope this helps
