Q: Surgery After Losing 117 Lbs...questions
asked by: duffanie on December 1st, 2006

I've lost 117 pounds the natural way over almost 2 years. I went from 290 pounds to 173 pounds. I have a ton of skin. Everywhere. It is horrid. I even exercised a lot but still have lots of skin in my stomach, love handles at my sides/hips, and horrible skin hanging in my thighs and upper arms, and breasts are very droopy.

I'd love to have a little lipo and the extra skin removed everywhere. I know this would be pretty painful.

How painful is it?
What kinda scars would I be left with?
How long would the recovery process be?
What all is involved in recovery process?
How long would I have to be off work? (i am on my feet for 12 hour shifts and do a little bit of lifting)

any answers would be appreciated.

I am only 24 so I am hoping my age would help me recover well. I desperately need it but i'm trying to get answers to decide if it is worth it or not.

Before Your Surgery!
Please, before you surgery make sure that you have a health care company that will support you if your surgery dosen't go as planned. As you said your are on your feet for 12hrs, do you really want all that hard work go to waste? Remember, most insurance companies, do not cover cosmetic surgery, if you need help please contact me at , and I shall guide you through the finanical process. After reading some of these failure stories, I have to urge people to seek a financially stable procedure before and after the surgery, and I am here to help you through the process.
