This isn't in the nature of a question, but I felt I had to tell what happened to me last sunday. Our 3 golden retrievers sleep at the foot of our bed every night. I woke early with a really nasty pain in my back and shoulder and thought, gee, I spent too long at the computer last night, I must have pulled a muscle or something. Anyhow, I lay there awhile trying to get comfortable. I wasn't about to wake up my wife and tell her I had a sore back, so I popped a codeine and hoped for the best. Of course what I was too dense to realise was that I was having a heart attack. Then our 2 year old golden retriever, molly, went to the other side of the bed and bounced on my wife, bonnie, until she woke up. Molly is usually far too well behaved for this kind of action. Anyhow, bonnie could clearly see by my pallour that something was seriously wrong and called the paramedics. As far as i'm concerned the dog saved my life and could see that I was in trouble.

I've heard other stories about dogs that can sense oncoming seizures in people, but i'm not sure if I actually believed it before. Now I do.

Does anyone else have any similar stories to relate?
