Well the good news about "weight" is that it's only been 8 days since brianne was born and I am down 30 pounds!!! Breastfeeding really does work! My appetite is large too. the bad news is that brianne went to the doctor's today and she was only 7 pounds 2 ounces. Her birth weight was 7 lbs. 9 oz. And when she left the hospital she was 6 lbs. 13 oz. Is it normal for her to still be so small? At the doctors today she grew and inch. She was 19 1/2 inches when she was born and today she was 20 1/2 inches. I try to feed her every 2 hours but sometimes she doesn't want to eat for 3 1/2 or 4 hours... I'm so afraid that she is being mal-nourished since she isn't gaining weight very quickly. Should I be worried that she doesn't want to eat as often as they say she should? She is having regular poops and pees. That's a good sign right?


P.S. Her bilirubin went down to 10.5 today yay!! The doctor said she is going to be fine
