Q: Oral Plaque/arterial Plaque

Is there any correlation between producing excess oral plaque and producing excess arterial plaque? My husband, 48 years old, is a marathon runner in great physical condition. He has no risk factors except for stress. Normal blood pressure, normal cholesterol, no heart disease in his family, eats healthy. He is scheduled for an angiogram because he is having angina and has symptoms of a blockage. His stress test also points to a blockage. He has always produced excess oral plaque despite meticulous oral hygiene. Could he just be a "plaque producer" for some reason? Could they be related? Could anything be done to slow it down?

Thanks.

Plaque Producer
Yes, he could me a plaque producer which could be the cause of his angina.
Plaque is also responsible for preventing the heart valves from seating properly and causing major problems. Most likely, his plaque is limiting blood flow to the left ventrical which was my problem 5 years ago. Even stints got plaque over them. I had to find a way to reverse and eliminate the plaque in the arteries. I not only did this with vitamin k2; but reversed hardening of the arteries to bring my ef from 38 to 70% and now I am back at weight training.
I have keept a log of all that I have done including references to double blind studies on k2 etc. If you want me to email it to you, just send me a reply to redleaven@yahoo.Com
