Q: Loestrin Help

I have been on loestrin for about 4 months. Last month I had almost a nonexistent period..No biggie. Now this month I have nothing. I have had constant heartburn, lots of discharge (no smell), back aches. My breasts have been larger since beginning loestrin, so no concern there, they have been sore on and off this month. Need a second opinion...Just the birth control messing with my system or reason for concern? I am known for false negative tests so I can't rely on that. I miscarried twice on the nuva ring with several negative tests.

Oh I forgot, about 2 weeks ago, I had some light pink, rubbery discharge. I am 3 days late now, which I know is common on the type of bc.

Did you go to the doctor to verify a miscarriage?

Most women will have a positive pregnancy test up to 2 weeks after a miscarriage.

If you suspect pregnancy and a false negative test, you should get a blood test from a doctor. The blood pregnancy test is definately accurate.

Yes I did go to the dr with both miscarriages. They did pathology work and verified eachtime that there was "products of conception". I have not went to the dr yet b/c I didn't want to jump the gun. I am trying to sort out things to determine if I am just paranoid or what. I think that if nothing happens through the weekend I will invest in a hpt monday and go from there.

You would need to see a doctor.

You may not need parents to see a doctor, but I believe you would need to pay the doctor.

I will do some looking for you to find out.
