I was diagnosed juvenile myoclonic epilepsy when I was 14, I would say a year before that I was having little jerks that I didn’t really take any notice of.

They proscribed epilim I started off at 200mg twice a day up too 1000mg twice a day.

I would say for the last year i’ve only been taking 500mg once a week, I don’t think i’ve gone longer than a week with no side affects

is it worth me speaking to my doctor about this, I last went over a year ago for a blood test that was the first time they asked for one the entire time i’ve been on epilim

Welcome to ehealth! I am not a Dr. My opinion or suggestion is to keep a journal of what meds you are taking and when you are taking them. If you are still having these seizures or jerks and if you are aware of them, write them down and let the dr know, your dr might want to change your meds or your dosage. Do you see a neurologist, have you gotten a second opinion, has the situation gotten better or worse, these are things that you need to write in your journal and let the dr know about.
I wish you all the best!
