My baby is going in for surgery next month and i'm torn into so many parts. My first is is she going to be okay 2nd what is the % rate of her recovery .I'll tell you she is a miracle. She has over came everything that the doc. Said would happen. She was a twin but the other one was in my tube so the gave me a high doise of methotrixate (kemo) to save my life .But two weeks later my hormon level went back up.They wanted me to take another doise I said not untile they did an ultra sound and they found her in my whoom and she was 7weeks along but measuing 6 so one week behind. They only had info on getting pregant while on this drug. Told me the baby chance of making it were slim to 13 week mark.Well she made it to 13 weeks but still measures 12 so we kept going my husband wanted a child and also and we've been trying for 2yrs 8mths before this so by this time I wanted a baby soo bad I cryed every month when I would start. So I gave her the fighting chance to be born no matter what .We had all hope's that everything would be okay. But at 20 weeks ultra sound showed she had only two blood vessels going to her and they said that she had a chance of having a hole in her heart or liver damage or kidney,or lower damages.Well we made it to her birth and she weighs 6lbs 2oz 17in and just as pretty as can be 10 fingers 10 toes but she was born with a imperforated anus (fistula)means her poo goes out her birth conel threw a little hole. Now she is almost 3mths old and now were looking at anoplasty surgery and a colostomy bag for 3 mths another surgery to remove the bag latter.

I don't know much about this surgery, but I do know another little boy that had to have an anoplasty and he was fine. I don't think there is much of a chance at all of complications. I'm sure your little girl will be fine!
