Q: Bleeding! Again!
asked by: Kia on November 28th, 2006

I can't believe that I am bleeding again.

I started my last period on oct 17 and bled until nov 2, stopped for 3 then on 5th had light flow, 6 nov spotting, 9 nov medium flow, 10th spotting, 11th light flow, 14th, 22nd, 26th, 27th spotting and now i'm back on medium flow.

My doc put me on 20mg progesterone a day for 21 days starting on the 9th nov (5mg is birth control dosage).

This was supposed to stop the bleeding altogether and as you can see it hasn't. I finish my progesterone in a few days and then am supposed to have a withdrawl bleed. I just know it's gonna start back up and not stop as soon as I stop the pills.

Ffs I hate being a woman right now - i'm not used to screwed up periods and ugh sorry had to vent.

Aw kia i'm sorry you're going through this. Have you thought of going on the mirena coil? I have it in and its fantastic. I have no periods at all! Obviously not good if you are ttc but I don't think you are actively trying anyway are you?

I hate periods. *sigh*

but .I've also been cramping off and on for weeks now, and every day I think "okay maybe this is it" but it never comes. I would rather get my period then go on with the cramping. Neutral

I eat them when theres absolutely nothing else to eat. I like putting tomato and cucumber and dijon on them.

I'd rather eat a steak and cheese sub from subway..

Mmmmmm

nope. My periods were regular from the first day I got 'em. 26 day cycle with 3 days of light flow bleeding.
Nothing ever put my cycle out except being preggy (even a ruptured appendix didn't mess 'em up).

Straight after surgury with 0liver I was back on my 26 day cycle and I mean straight after - that was oct 2004.
Then april/may my cycle started to get longer - thought ok i'm getting older fair enough but they jumped from 26 to 30 to 35 to nearly 40 days.... But the bleeding only increased a bit, not much

then suddenly boom out of nowhere it's like i'm getting pay back for always having had short regular periods.

I've got a gynae appt to schedule after this course of hormones so we'll see what's going on hopefully.
But ugh it's just so annoying and inconvenient *sigh*

yeah, but I started to get my periods at 9 - that's like 16/17 years on the same cycle, maybe I was due a change or something - just it could have been nicer than this lol
