Q: Scar Marks Comes And Disappear

My wife aged 29 and my daughter aged 4 years used to get blue/gray scar marks mainly on legs. These scars are of size around 1 inch comes and automatically disappear with in 5-10 days. Sometime it does not appear for months, but again start coming.
If we press the scar it is painful.

What can be the reason for it?
