Pregnancy After Birth Control

You should have no problems conceiving after being on bc. There are many women who are on it 10-15 years, and they go on to have healthy children.
Just make sure you look at all options of birth control. Some women have a harder time having a baby after being on the shot-depo provera. I have not seen any medical claims by the makers of depo saying that a women couldn't become pregnant, but I have heard of many women taking years to conceive after coming off of it.

I also have heard that the shot (depo) can make it harder to have children after going off of it. I heard it can take up to 2 years or more! That is why I went on ortho-tricycline. I went off of it in june of 2002 and didn't get pregnant until december of 2002. I had a healthy baby girl. I would highly suggest not getting the shot, justb because you may want to have a child right away after you stop and you never know if it could take a few years to wear totally off.
