Wow that is wonderful I am 47 and I hope I can get pregnant with the help of ivf I don't know yet if I may need an egg donor. My first born is now 29 years old. Is there anyone over 47 and pregnant that had to use an egg donor. You can pm me if you wish. I feel very hopeful that I by the end of 2007 would be expecting a baby with the lords help and blessing.

~!
The safest way to have a baby is between the ages of 18-35! If you have a baby any later the baby is more likly to have problems. Your body is not there for you anymore for you to have a baby!I would reccomend you adopting. That way you will be able to see grandchildren and great grand children. You dont want to put a risk on any baby ! Do some research and ask a doctors opinion! Good luck!

If you are healthy and want to have a baby, you should try naturally or with ivf, whichever way works. I am 44 and was pregnant until I lost my baby at 11 weeks, I also have 3 healthy children, 25, 20 and 6. My doctor did not find anything wrong with my age when I became pregnant this time and encouraged me to try again. With science and knowledge in these days, anything is possible. If you want a baby, GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!

47 and hoping to be pregnant!!!
You go for it!!! Nancy Grace from CNN had twins at 47 and ivf, you are only as old as you feel. Never mind the other lady who said you should have to have kids between 18-35, there is new evidence that older woman are having babies that are so healthy... you are still young. Now the lady who had a baby at 77 from Indian is an old mom, but 47 is young.

Bless you nikita

47 and would like to get pregnant
I am 47 and have a very healthy young body. When I meet people the are suprised when I tell them my age. I feel young and I believe I have a slow aging gene. I am very energetic, strong and full of vitality!!. I enjoy regular sex with my partner. I understand that it will take longer during this prime of life. I agree with one of the post I read earlier, your are only as old as you feel. Dont be put off. If you are healthy then why not... Bless

Hoping to get pregnant at 47!
I am 47 years old too and only have one son who is now 27. I recently married a man who is 11 years younger and we are attempting to have a baby together. I had all tests necessary to see if I was healthy enough to bear a child at my age and my doctors did not see any reason why I couldn't, I am healthy and still feel very young and energetic. We are doing everything natural and pray God blesses us soon with this small miracle.
