Okay, so i'm babysitting my neighbor's 6 month old and she is currently completely inconsolable. Her parents are visiting a dying relative in the hospital, and not picking up their cell phone. Lucy won't stop crying and I just don't know what to do at this point. I fed her what and when I was supposed to, I changed her, offered her her favorite toys and stuffed animals, and nothing has worked. She had just woken up from a nap when I got here an hour ago so she's not tired.
Any suggestions? I just feel so bad for her...

good advice, although I think baby motrin is way better!

If it's warm outside, take her outside because my son just lovesssssssssssss it out there.

We are having a very very nice day today, and yesterday too. Brayden played in the leaves and touched the grass for the first time. He was one excited boy. Laughing

Try distracting her with television if all else fails; works for me.

You all can call me .Natalie, or .Nat, if it's easier to remember. I called the parents again, and they finally picked up, but they're probably going to be at the hospital all night because the prognosis for their relative is that he won't make it through the night. They said it'd be okay if I gave .Lucy some .Baby .Motrin, so I did, and now she's calmed down a little bit, i'm just hoping it'll kick in some more. It's down to more of a continual whimper from a full out scream session.

Yeah I know, I thought tylenol was good and then some people mentioned baby motrin and I was like i'll try it and it was goooooooooood!

I need to buy brayden a snowsuit for this year because I know it's gonna snow, I havent seen any in any stores ive been to though so i'll probably have to order one online, and it's been like 71 degrees the past few days so brayden has been outside constantly playing in the grass.

Snow is so pretty, but I hate driving in it. Sad

Well its hard to deal with a crying baby and dont know what they really want but try changing her diapers, feeding her, giving her bath.. Some babies love to bathe so see and try all those to see what calm her down. And they should be picking up their phone but remember in the hospital.. They aren't allowed to have phone on. I know stupid rule but that would frustrate me too.
