Hi, i'm 25 years old. I've always had regular periods. 28 days, 5 days long...Etc. The last 2 months have been very odd. Pain in my lower left side. Got so bad had to miss work and go to Dr. After examins and tests and sonograms, the only thing they could think of was an ovarian cyst cuz I had a little fluid in my ovaries. They said they couldnt be 100% tho. The pain left, and about 27 days later it came back. It is dull and uncomfortable. Starts about a week before my period and lasts that entire week...The first few days of my period is almost non existant and one day is stupid heavy. My Dr. Prescribed yasmin. I havent been on pill in 3 years. I hear its a high dose pill which makes me nervous putting that in my body. Do u think what I have is ovarian cysts and is yasmin good? Should I get 2nd opinion? Could it be other problem? The pain kinda moves side to side sometimes (which i'm told could be the fluid moving from a burst cyst). Nothing else is really down there, like organs, right? Just ovaries and apendix, which i'm sure it couldnt be...Most of the pain is my left side. Please help. I want to keep myself healthy! Oh i'm also very sore in my legs and lower back. This could be my active lifestyle, but I dont think so...
