Itchy Bum 15 Minutes After Taking a Dump Posted: 11-23-06 14:41pm
Ok, I have had an itchy bum for three
months and am trying to figure out whar
could have caused it. The doctors seem
seem to be trying out everything, so I
thought I would post info about it in case
anyone has to go through it. Anyway...
1) doctor does a search with the
finger....Cannot find anything wrong. He
also says that he cannot see anything
wrong.
2) he gives me a worming tablet, so I took
it, washed all the sheets and
towells.....No result.
3) went back and he said it may be a yeast
infection, so he gives me a prescription
for a tube of canesten. I use it for two
weeks, it eases the itching. Then I stop
using the cream and it comes back.
4) this time he prescribes some steroid
cream called xyloproct. I have been
using it for two out of three weeks and I
don't think it is going to fix the problem
as I can still feel the itching and have
to apply it.
And this is how far I have gone. It
seems vey frustrating that they are not
doing a sample test to see if anythng
shows up! I guess it is easier to dish
out the subscriptins and let me pay for
it. One other thing...I thnk it may have
started when I had antibiotics for
tonsilitis, but I cannot be sure. Let me
know if you have had any other similar
experiences, and let me know if you have
hav any idea what the next step migh be.
