I have had alot of acne breakouts recently. I was wondering if the fact I had a week long stomach flu has a link with it.

I had a very severe stomach flu for a week and after a week I had really bad acne outbursts on my forehead, cheaks, temples.... Pretty much my whole face... I am male and currently 16... Have had acne when I was 14-15... But my face has been clear for months and only started after the stomach flu... I wonder if it is linked..

I have never had this many acne break outs before... My forehead got really bad... Sad

Being sick can definitely contribute to your having acne. When you're sick, your body is full of harmful toxins that need to be expelled. Where do these toxins get out? Through your skin, and that's why you get acne. Now, if this only happens when you get sick, that's not a problem. If acne is a chronic problem, then it doesnt matter
