Calcium Supplements -- All They Are Cracked Up to Be! Posted: 11-22-06 14:15pm
I just wanted to make a quick posting
regarding calcium supplements and your
guys thoughts on them. There is lots of
"unverified" research surrounding calcium
and then on the other hand, lots of
"verified clinical research" supporting it
as well. Seeing as over 60% of us are
calcium defficient how do you all view it?
Do you see it as an important supplement
considering it is the second most abundant
mineral in our body or do you see it as
something that isn't that important?
There are many thoughts on the different
types of calcium out there and according
to the research there are a few premier
products that are commercially available
that have been known to be very effective
especially in cases of osteoperosis in
relation to rebuilding bone or bone
maintenance. It is also viewed as a
positive relation to a natural approach
instead of the leading pharmaceutical
brand "phosomax" for rebuilding bone.
What are your thoughts and do any of you
have any questions in relation to
calcium?
