Hello,
i recently have had a urine analysis which revealed a 15mg/dl level of ketones (cetonic bodies), glucose is absent and in another test (2 months ago) my blood sugar level was 92 mg/dl . So I was told I do not have diabetes.

I mention I am a 37 year old female, I am not pregnant and I was diagnosed as obese (bmi 37).
I also mention I went to a nutritionist on thursday and this analysis was done on monday, so I was on a sort of diet (i eat every 4 hours) - but this diet had begun only 3 days before, and it wasn't thoroughly kept anyway (it included pizza Laughing ).
What can be the cause of my ketone level please?

Thanks
