I'm sixteen years old and I had mono in august/september of this year, and i'm pretty sure I have it again. I went to the doctors a few days ago, and we decided not to do a blood test because the mono would still be in my system from last time. I didn't contract it again, i'm sure of that, and i'm surprised to have it again (and just as bad!) because I haven't done anything exherting at all.

Anyways, I took steriods last time I had mono because my throat closed (i was flying on a plane, and apparently its kinda dangerious to do that when your choking on your spit Shocked) and I heard that I can't take them again because they won't work/will make me worse in some way. Is this true?

I'm also kinda wondering why it came back, I know its not normal.

I'm positive its mono. Absolutely everything feels the same. The right side of my throat is huge, (left is big aswell) there is white stuff in my throat, throat doesn't hurt too bad unless I swallow, my right ear hurts, my armpits itch, i'm having nightsweats, dizzyness, tiredness, insomnia, and that all over weak feeling that i've only ever had once before (last time I had mono)
