Hi I had a colposcopy done to me in early
december. I was wondering for any other
women who have had this done does this
affect your period in any way? The day
after I had it done my af came and that
was early. So I was thinking maybe it was
the colposcopy? Am I right?

Hi I have had one.
I had one while I was pregnant in labor
over 6 weeks early!!!
Becuse I was bleeding internally and
throwing up blood had to have an emergancy
blood trasfusion and they were trying to
find out where I was bleeding from.They
couldn't find where so they broke my water
and the baby was born 1/2 hour later.The
bleeding stopped.They have never figured
out from where I was bleeding from~~~
but they said I shoudn't have any side
effects from it~
but if you were understress it could be
very possible.
Just check with your doctor and if it is
longer or unusal than normal
i'd go in. Good luck

Im doing good thanx. I havent made doc
appt. Yet but I will b/c I have some
other concerns like my areolas are getting
wider, I have sharp pains in my stomach
and sides, dull aches around my navel, and
I think thats all. But it might have been
stress but the same thing happened to my
cousin so I was thinking maybe the
colposcopy was the reason. But I plan to
go to my doc and see whats up. Thanx for
your support and advice.

I wish I could help, but I had my
coloscopy done while I was pregnant..I
just has some spotting after the exam.
