This may help
My sister recently has suffered from dry eyes, she is menopausal too. She was also at her wits end after trying all the eye drops and seeing different doctors who didn't help her at all, she decided to google an answer and discovered that applying a hot (very hot wet) as hot as you can stand flannel or cloth to your eyes (closed) and eyelashes to loosen and unplug the blocked ducts which are responsible for moisturising your eyes and helping the eye lids slide over your eyeballs much more comfortably.
My sister would wake up in the middle of the night with her eyes unable to open, they were so dry. Conjunctivitis was ruled out.
