Q: Perhaps Unique Testicular Question, Please Help

I am 18, and have noticed that I am able to something that no one I have talked to can do. The cremasteric muscles, the muscles that raise the testes to a higher level when cold or frightened, I find that I have control over them. Whenever I want, I can honestly bring them right up and down, as desired. Out of sheer curiousity, I have been researching all over and really have only found how the cremasters work and such, and all sources seem to imply that they are controlled unconsciously, that only the body can regulate it. I've looked at retractile testes (a condition I don't have), and it seemed to be somewhat related, but didn't answer the question about what exactly I am controlling and if it's even possible. Am I a medical miracle? Or is there a logical explanation for this? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Nope, every man i've had the pleasure of seeing naked is able to lift his own testicles (without his hands). To pull them right up and release.

With the exception of one - who just happens to have his testicle stitched to the lower part of the abdominal muscle after a karate injury Shocked

That's interesting, because every man i've asked about this has no idea what i'm talking about and clearly cannot. Are you sure the ones you've seen can actually trigger it on the spot, when they want?

Umm given that my fella can do it when I say "lift your balls" then i'd say that is triggered on the spot Laughing

oh after this post I actually asked my dad and yeah he can.
I asked my mom to see if her fella can do it and yeah he can.

I think your mates are just like "umm no" and really don't even see if they can or not.

Ok wierd question are you in the us or uk?
And are you & your mates cut?

Because i'm in the uk and pretty much everyone I know is uncut...

This has been causing a giggle because i'm asking men that I come across (that I know not random men) if they can lift their balls without their hands lol.

Some can a bit, some can a lot, some can only lift one Confused

I'm going to ask this of the girls in the teen & pregnancy forums to find out if their fella's can do it, so you might want to head over there sometime...

the cremaster can also be contracted voluntarily, by contracting the pc muscle (using kegels), or by sucking in the abdomen. Not all males are capable of doing this, as it requires pelvic muscle strength.

Yes! That's the kind of info I was searching for. What did you search for on wikipedia to find that? I looked all over! So according to that, what muscle am I actually using when I do this? Am I stimulating the cremasteric muscle? What do they mean "strong pelvic muscle"?

The pelvic muscles are the ones that are affected by doing kegel exercises.
And yes it is the cremasteric muscles that cause the balls to lift.

And most girls in the teen and pregnancy forums are saying that their boyfriends/husbands can move the penis but not the balls. Ooo errrr
so maybe you, my fella, my dad and my close male friends really are supermen with super strong pelvic and cremasteric muscles?

I just typed cremaster into google and the wiki link was the 4th site (5th or 6th link but 4th site)

I thought every man could do this too. I have low hanging testicles and so its really noticeable when I raise them up. That could be a factor.
