Does anyone know what this means?

Findings: the l5-s1 level, there is a small broad based central herniation with slight impingement upon the thecal sac and s1 nerve roots. There may be bilateral pars defects at the l5 level with bone marrow edema and hypertrophic bony changes. There are moderate bilateral foraminal stenoses at this level. The l1-l2, l2-l3, l3-l4 and l4-l5 discs are unremarkable. The bones are intact. There are no intradural abnormalities. Impression: small broad based central herniation at the l5-s1 level. There may be abilateral pars defects at the l5 level.

Is this the standard response for an mri reading?

I've had back pain come and go for about 4 years and at that same time my back pain started, I started having a lot of strange ailments. I became gluten sensitive, my feet are always hot, and I am extremely sensitive to smells (perfumes, gas, exhaust). Could these ailments be the result of a herniated disk? Any help would be great.
