Q: Hi New Here, Had a Question

I just found out that I am 5 weeks and 6 days along. I found out when I went to the emergency room because I thought I might be pregnant but was spotting and had some pain here and there. They took a ultrasound and some blood work. Said blood was fine, and the ultrasound showed a 5 week sac, but they wanted me to get blood work done again in 48 hours and then another ultrasound in 10 days.

My question is how long should the spotting be for and or pain with placenta implantion? Or does it sound like something else. Today is friday and I still have a little bit of pain here and there in my stomach mostly up towards the rib cage, and an occasional spotting when I wipe. Not all the time, this started on tuesday.

Thanks for any help
