Q: What Do You Think?

Ok. I am now going through a misacarriage. And i've already had that talk with the family about what steps to take next such as if I wanted to get on birth control or if I wanted to still have a baby. My family(along with my bf's family) think I should wait because I am only 18 and am going through my first semester of college. Because of the complications I missed alot of classes and had to drop two throughout the whole process.

Well the problem is that the more and more I think about it I still want to have a baby. Yeah I know it would be smart to wait but my bf is about to graduate from college and that kinda helps. I just really want a baby. I took it so hard when I first found out that the baby stopped growing. And so did the rest of the family. So I don't know what to do. And anything anyone has to say will not be seen as lecturing me I promise. I just really want to know what others think.

You really really need to see a doctor.

If you are still "just now going thorugh a miscarriage" you need medical care because you are risking an infection.

However, iirc, you hadn't actually had medical confirmation that you were having a miscarriage, just you were told that you "might" miscarry.

Oh sorry if I left that out. But I talked to my doctor and I am having a miscarriage as we speak. I start blood work next week to make sure that my level goes back down.

Well I was spotting the past two weeks and this monday I started bleeding heavy like at 4 in the morning. The pain was so intense!! But it doesn't hurt as much as knowing that i'm not having my baby Sad

Aww im soo sorry.. I know how you feel.. I already posted my short miscarriage story in another post. But I understand you and know how sad you feel for losing a baby. After my miscarriage whenever I saw another baby in real life...Movie.. Anywhere I would almost start crying! But let time heal everything.. Go to a doctor to see what exactly is going on.. And if you relly did have a miscarriage then just wait to heal and clear your mind of everything and then see how you feel about trying again. I know I wanted to get pregnant right away also because you think that this will fill the empty hole.. But another pregnancy right now wont.. So give it some time and see how you feel in a few months!!.. Good luck..
