so is it wrong to want a little bit of help? I didn't think so, but maybe .I was wrong. Do not twist my words, please.

it's not wrong to want help. But I don't see how you have a right to expect it, or become angry when you don't get it.

If my advice hasn't been helpful, please feel free to disregard it.

.Again, you apparently cannot read. I do not expect anybody to give me anything. I am not angry because my daddy won't buy me a car. I am angry because he won't let me do what .I wish with my own car that .I have now. Please do not reply to my topics anymore if you cannot learn to read &understand what .I am clearly saying.

i just want to say if it is your car, in your name, there is nothing your dad can say about it. You can trade it in if you want to. If it is in your dad's name...Then that is a different story.

Why won't your parents cosign on a loan for you?

It's still under my dad's name, unfortunately. We were supposed to change that, but since my sister started driving it, he decided to put it off. &.They won't cosign on a loan for me because they're really stingy with money, &they don't want to be tied to anything- they won't really give me a straight answer as to why, the answer it always just "no."

Krissy buy a car seat and show your dad what it looks like in the back of a two door sports car, we had a mercury cougar and I traded it in for a minivan just because car seats dont fit!

I have an two door explorer two and they arent any fun either when trying to pyut car seats in honestly I would invest in a better car, focus are pretty good not to bad on the pocket!

I think your dad should help you out but I don think he should have to pay all of it!

Oh .I agree. That's one reason .I'm so frustrated, because .I've told him that if he gets me the car, that .I'll make the payments on it &help with my insurance &stuff. If he gets .Kayla a car, he'll be paying for everything without any help from her, ya know?

My next check should be about $200.00, that's good enough for me lol

.Lmao! I don't know anything about trade-ins.. My dad said .I wouldn't be able to get a damn thing in return for my car 'cause he said it's worth absolutely nothing.. Which .I'm having a hard time believing. It's a 97' .Plymouth .Neon, only about 70,000 miles, there's a few little scraped &a dent or two, but it looks pretty incredibly good for having it for a teenager having it for 4 years. There are stickers on the back, but .I can easily take those off. It's gotta be worth something, but he keeps telling me .I wouldn't get jack caca for it if .I was gonna trade it in. How do trade-ins work? Do you know?

There's a website where you can plug in all the info on your car (make, model, condition, etc) and it will give you the trade in value. I can't remember what it is though! Maybe try googling "kelly blue book", I think that's what it's called...

Sorry! My brain is fried! I blame it on lack of sleep.

Thanks, .B! I found the site. Apparently my cars trade-in value is only like $1600. Confused .I don't know if that's good or bad! It's in "fair" condition.. But even for poor condition it would be worth $1400. So .I don't know!
