Not Sure What I Am Doing
Posted: 11-15-06 21:32pm

I talked to my parents today and they said that a friend of my mom pays around $400 a month on health insurance for herself. Is this how much insurance really costs for individuals? I am twenty and am not going to school any more, I am looking for an insurance that wll cover prescribtion drugs, dental, eye, and health. I have sezuires so I need the meds. And does anyone know about www.E-gia.Com or www.Ehealthinsurance.Com< /a>?

Existing Health Conditions You Have Will Be Waivered

Hi,

yes health insurance does cost that much these days. Also, the older you are the more expensive it can sometimes be.

You can probably get it cheaper than your mother. However, any existing medical conditions you have will be waivered.

Pre-existing Conditions With Health Insurance
Posted: 01-11-07 17:16pm

You can be turned down, or your rates increased, because of your pre-existing condition. And, yes, $400 is a very common premium.

I couldn't afford it myself, so I went with one of the discount healthcare plans instead. No one can be turned down, and they give discounts for everything. The discounts vary from 20% to 80% or more. They also cover dental & vision as you said you need. I saved $800 on a $1700 dental bill (obviously a major dental project).
