Is It Possible...

... To get pregnant when your most fertile day was two days before your period came, and you ttc on that day (after your dh was waiting 3 days before that for the sperms to mature) ... Even though you get rid of "everything" when your period is present?

Does that make sense to anyone? Maybe I can explain a little better:
my ovusoft program said that all the days that I was having sex was a "very low" chance of concieving (based on my lutheal cycle and my basal temperature each morning - gee, I wonder why I didn't get pregnant yet :p)... Until november 12th it said it was the "best" chance to concieve, and we ttc that night. We didn't do anything between november 9th & 11th, so my dh had all those mature spermies waiting to be released Smile
but then two days later I got my "early" period (and I know it's not implantation bleeding, because it's heavy) - that was november 14th.
So is there a chance to still get the spermies to the egg when "everything" in your body is just gushing out at the moment because your af is here?

Yeah, I guess that sounded a lot better! So... Any suggestions? Confused

I heard of it happening, although I don't personally know anyone that it has happened to.

But if your leutal phase is short, that means that the fertilized egg won't have a chance to implant in your uterus, that can be fixed with medication, just voice your concerns to your doctor...They will proably monitor your ovulation first thought to see if that is really what is happening, before they perscribe anything to you.

Hope this helps

My usual cycles are 30 days apart. I've been taking ovulex for the past week, so that's probably the reason why my period started early this month, because it's trying to regulate my cycles (to about 28 days apart, 'cause that's what it was before I got my af - the day before I got it was my 28th day). The day that it said was "best" fertilization we had sex (and ttc) because I had a lot of the eggwhite and watery discharge. So i'm hoping that the spermies are still gonna be able to make it even though all that gunk is coming out now! Ewww! Shocked

i usually don't get that much discharge when it says i'm suppose to ovulate... So i'm hoping that ovulex will help with that soon! So I can have my little maricle! Smile

If you did get your period, then even if the sperm survived, there would be no egg to fertilize, as that what your period is.......The shedding of the uterus lining and the disintegrated egg, b/c it wasn't fertilized.
If you did get your af, then you will have to wait until next month, when your ovaries release another egg, and it can hopefully be fertilized!!!!!!
I know you want this so bad, and I truly hope that it happens for you soon, but I think you are over-thinking everything and this will really slow down your body from conceiving.
Good lcuk for this time ttc, and I hope you get your wish soon!!!!!!!!!
