I am 16 years old and I currently found out that I am 4 weeks pregnat while I was having an emergency gall bladder surgery and luckily the baby didnt die but unfortunatly their are still great risk due to the anestia and ect .. I am trying to decide weather I should keep it or not becuase of the risk of deformation and so on..If you know anything please w/b asap

Hello there..

Anesthesia definately is dangerous to a pregnancy, and you would not know the full effects until you are further along and testing is done.

These are some things you may consider.. =)

1) if you terminate now when it is early, the fetus is less developed and it would be easier physically. You could also have another baby, as an abortion does not affect future fertility.
2)you cannot know the damage until later in pregnancy, say around 20 weeks, and an abortion this late is much harder obviously.

What do you personally feel is the best choice?
