Q: That Broken Feeling...

Hey all, let me tell you my story. I'm an 18 year old male from england who started chatting to a girl from new york online a bit ago, and over time feelings started to develop and I planned on going over there to visit. As time went on my happyness turned into pain, pain from the distance, I guess I came to the realisation of how near impossible this actually would be. I went into a mad state of depression and even had to see a doctor about it, so we stopped talking for a few days. The pain calmed down a bit, but I didnt want to make a mistake against her and break her heart so I told her I couldnt stay commited even though deep down inside I didnt want anyone else. She accepted, her feelings for me didnt change, she still kept on saying that I was the only one for her and she wasnt interested in other guys, and it stayed like that for a while until the other night... I found out she is now in a relationship with someone else, this has left me heartbroken because I still had strong feelings for her and never wanted what we had to die... Even though it was so painful. I feel as if I brought it up on myself for being selfish for her love. Everything we could of had is now all shattered and I hate this feeling, I cant believe she told me she wanted me and only me and now this happens. What if she was the one.

"broken hearts", as you people call them are easily fixed.

Train yourself in the art of hypnosis.

After you have gotten over that, train yourself to be emotionless when it comes to romance.

Only then will you achieve unlimited power with women.

thats the biggest load of bull i've ever heard. Emotions are what keeps us alive. If you have none, what is your purpose? To go to work, sleep and eat everyday, how fun.

Jimmyeth, you never saw each other in person and people are totally different sometimes over the net.Who knows if she was your one true love. You are far far apart and nothing will stop that (unless you move of course). Not to be mean but I suggest you move on and find someone who you can actually be with.Love can be a great thing,so experience it! You have to just throw yourself out there sometimes and forget about past hurt.Good luck!

Hey guys, thought i'd update you on the situation. Well we agreed to stay good friends together, problem is, I really don't get to talk to her much anymore now and its quite upsetting Sad you see, we chatted on the im msn messenger, but the main one she uses is aim and only really signed into msn to chat to me, with only a few other friends on her list... Now that she has found someone else it seems as though she isnt that bothered to talk to me anymore, which really sucks as I still really enjoy talking to her... Peoples thoughts would be appreciated, thanks.
