It seems that your partner had to check
his sperm first because
infertility/sterility examinations for
women are more complicated than for men.
But anyway, what was done is done. Now,
you can wait for your partner’s
spermogram results. If everything is OK
with his sperm, the next steps you can
take are:
1. Vaginal check with a
Pap-test;
2. Hormonal blood analyses (estrogen,
progesterone, FSH, LH, prolactin,
thyroxin, testosterone, DHEA);
3. Vaginal ultrasound;
4. Hystero-salpingo-graphy (HSG)-contrast
X-ray method for checking the uterine and
oviduct passages, and
5. Hysteroscopy and laparoscopy (final
diagnostic procedures, if necessary).
If his sperm is not OK (not enough or
immovable spermatozoids), you are free of
any further medical examinations as it
seems that his sperm count is too low for
conception.
