Aw I hated doing that too. But its better she gets a couple seconds of pain and cries for a minute or 2, than get one of the diseases and end up in hospital.

Omg! I sobbed the first time I took my girl to the doc for shots. She was over it fairly fast, I cried all afternoon. Sad

I think finn will be getting his first shots next month. Do they get them at their 1 month appointment? I hope I don't cry right along with him! I feel bad just thinking about it. Sad

I herd that can be very difficult, but like one of the users said above it's better to go through a couple seconds of pain than to have a life alterating disease which would hurt the baby a lot more in the long run.
Beautiful baby by the way.
-good luck :p

Thank you isn't she a doll....Sorry I have to gloat.

I totally agree with the few seconds of pain vs the diseases. My mom went with me the last time and I stood outside of the door. I cried all afternoon too. Her little leggies bruised up so badly it was awful however she did very well after the shots, no fever or anything. But I was heart broken.

I can't stand my baby being in any type of pain. I scratched her with my engagement ring (hadn't taken it off at that point.) and she looked at me and then pooked out her bottom lip and started wailing. It was horrible. Lets just say that I am wearing just my band now. Sad

yep first ones at 1 month.

I always gave lucas some medicine after incase it made him feel bad or get a fever. He wasnt too bad tho. I agree it is heart breaking to put them through it, but at least its over quick..

His leg swelled up all red once so I took him to the doctors to make sure it was ok, and he said it was fine. Looked sore tho

damn edit thingy lol

Indeed she is a doll, I would gloat too if I had my child allready and they were that beautiful ^-^

yeah I have been to many dr's appt. With friends at it is allways hard for the mother to see there child in pain when there is no avoiding it or making it any easyer, all you can really do is comfort them to the best of your abilites which I am sure you do.

As for the incodent regarding your en. Ring it's crazy how the smallest little thing can hurt or put the child in pain, yet they are the tinest aspects of a human life, everything has to be baby proofed and everything must be though about for the best interest of your child. :p

I know what you mean! I got landon's shots (2 months) done a couple weeks ago. I had to like hold his leg down as hard as I could while he screamed and they put 2 needles in each leg Neutral I was like omg!!!! The poor little man it was horrible, but he was grumpy with everyone else but me the same nite, he loves his mummy :p hehe.
