Q: Small testicles and premature ejaculation

I was diagnosed with toxocara of the eye at the age of 11 and was prescribed steroids to treat this. i was taking these tablets in various doses till the age of 17 i was hoping if you could tell me if these have caused me to have really small testicles (well one is like a large grape the other a bit bigger and would these of helped me to suffer from severe premature ejaculation which i have been prescribed fluoxetine for but it did not help my condition any

It doesn't seem likely that steroids can interrupt the testicles development. You should perform a spermogram and request a blood testosterone level examination to check if your testicles are functional, or not. Even if you have small testicles, they are probably not the reason for premature ejaculation. Premature ejaculation is a functional disorder without any structural (organic) damage. Fluoxetine is an antidepressant that can be used for treating premature ejaculation. It needs a few months to start acting.
