Why did she come to see you at home? Thats weird...I always had to see mine with lucas at the doctors surgery, and same thing with this pregnancy. She only did home visits after lucas was born. Maybe its different in diff areas...
Did you get the green n purple pregnancy book?

I don't know why she came around she just text me some numbers to book my scan and said if you're around today I can come and book you, I text back from dom's phone she called him and said can she come over the next morning and she did. I'm seeing her at the surgery at 16 weeks though. Yep it is that book, I took one look at the pictures of crowning etc and thought oh dear lord please tell me it doesn't look like that!

Yeah my midwife wanted to see me at home.
I was like no f*ckin way lady - I do not have people come to my house ugh.
So I made them schedule my appts at my docs surgury.
I think they do it if they want to "check on your home situation" - for me that was because I have ocd on my medical records and the very reason why I do not have people come to my house (well flat) d'uh.

Oh ok. Yeh I think its good tho cos it saves u from having to go there and sit in waiting room for ages. I always get nervous at the docs surgery lol... That pregnancy book is really good tho. When your baby is born or just before, she'll give u another called birth to 5yrs. Both are helpful on what to expect and what to do. I didnt know they sometimes did blood tests at home. I'd rather do that lol

I'd prefer to have them all here but I don't mind going to the surgery because it's basically next to my school so I try to get appointments in my lunch time then I can just pop down. I can't stand needles even though i've managed to get my ears pierced three times, my belly button and lip pierced but thats kinda different I wanted that done! Still the blood test wasn't as bad as I thought. I'm just hoping my bubba comes on time because my sister's getting married on the 11th july and I need to catch a ferry to go there for a week, but the bubbs can't come on the 20th because it's my nephew's birthday and the 22nd is my birthday...
