Alright...A few things have been adding up that have been bothering me.

I've been on ortho tri-cyclen lo for...Oh...About nine months now.
So, first off, how late is too late? Like I usually take it around 9 monday, wednesday, friday cause I have early classes and then 10 tuesday thursday cause I have a later class. Then on the weekends usually at 11. Is this bad? Should I reschedule it at a time that I can defiantely take it the same time? Would this be the reason for my next question, which is, as I said i've been taking in about nine months. My period should come till the 20th, but today (11) I have had a little bleeding. Is it spotting? Should I just relax? Is it because i'm taking it at different times? But those times are just a little off, does it make a huge difference?

I know, a lot of questions, if you can answer any of these, please do so, otherwise I shall sit here and worry obsessively as I am want to do. And there is only so much worry to go around what with like 10 papers due in the next week.
Thank you!

it's not perfect but it isn't thaaat bad. If you were on a mini pill then yes it would be very bad.

in an ideal world yes, but in real life you're doing ok to be honest.

probably, a lot of women get a small amount of spotting or break through bleeding

yes, especially with all those papers coming up.

unlikely, and no, not really - but it would if you were on a progesterone only or mini pill.

It is dependant on the individual.
Some women get spotting only once in a while and it can last from a day - to being on and off for the whole month.
Other women never get any spotting, yet other women just get the odd day once in a blue moon.

The only thing I can say is if it has you concerned then don't hesitate to make a check up appt with your doctor or gyn.

Also if you just wanted to take a pregnancy to ease your mind - the birth control pill will not affect the test result and the result should be accurate from the day your period should be due (or 4 days before if you use first response).
